কমোডো দ্বীপ (Komodo Island) হলো ইন্দোনেশিয়ার পূর্ব নুসা টেঙ্গারা প্রদেশে অবস্থিত একটি বিখ্যাত দ্বীপ, যা প্রধানত পৃথিবীর বৃহত্তম জীবিত টিকটিকি "কমোডো ড্রাগন" (Komodo Dragon)-এর আদি বাসস্থান হিসেবে বিশ্বজুড়ে পরিচিত। দ্বীপটি সুম্বাওয়া এবং ফ্লোরেস দ্বীপের মাঝে অবস্থিত।

প্রধান আকর্ষণসমূহ

• কমোডো ড্রাগন দর্শন: দ্বীপটির প্রধান আকর্ষণ হলো প্রাকৃতিকভাবে ঘুরে বেড়ানো বিশাল আকৃতির কমোডো ড্রাগন দেখা। স্থানীয় গাইড বা রেঞ্জারদের সাথে পর্যটকরা এখানে ট্রেকিং করতে পারেন। 

• পিঙ্ক বিচ (Pink Beach): এই দ্বীপের সৈকতগুলোর বালি হালকা গোলাপি রঙের। বিশ্বের মাত্র কয়েকটি গোলাপি সৈকতের মধ্যে এটি একটি।

• সমুদ্রের জীববৈচিত্র্য ও ডাইভিং: এই অঞ্চলের সাগরের নিচে রয়েছে অসাধারণ প্রবাল প্রাচীর। এটি স্কুবা ডাইভিং এবং স্নরকেলিংয়ের জন্য বিশ্ববিখ্যাত, যেখানে 'মান্টা রে' (Manta Rays) মাছের সাথে সাঁতার কাটার অভিজ্ঞতা নেওয়া যায়। 

• পাডার দ্বীপ (Padar Island): কমোডো জাতীয় উদ্যানের অন্তর্গত এই পার্শ্ববর্তী দ্বীপের চূড়ায় উঠলে একসঙ্গে তিনটি ভিন্ন রঙের (সাদা, কালো ও গোলাপি) বালির সৈকত এবং পাহাড়ের চমৎকার দৃশ্য দেখা যায়।

Komodo Island is a famous island located in Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province, known worldwide primarily as the natural habitat of the "Komodo Dragon"—the largest living lizard on Earth. The island is situated between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores.

Main Attractions

Viewing Komodo Dragons: The island's primary attraction is seeing the massive Komodo dragons roaming freely in their natural environment. Tourists can go trekking here accompanied by local guides or rangers.

Pink Beach: The sand on the beaches of this island is pale pink in color. It is one of only a few pink beaches in the world.

Marine Biodiversity and Diving: The waters of this region feature extraordinary coral reefs. It is world-renowned for scuba diving and snorkeling, offering the unique experience of swimming alongside manta rays.

Padar Island: From the summit of this nearby island—part of Komodo National Park—one can enjoy a magnificent view of three beaches with sands of different colors (white, black, and pink) alongside the surrounding hills.
